Helping Hands is a mission/service group for 3rd through 5th graders. The Helping Hands group meets on occasional Sunday evenings, 5:00-6:00.
Some of the projects Helping Hands have done:
· Making care packages for our college students
· Making brownies for home-bound members
· Christmas ornaments for “Meals On Wheels”
· Toys recycling project
· Writing letters of support to missionaries
· Clean nursery toys, sharpen pencils for sanctuary
· Create meal kits “to go” for people who come by during the week who are hungry
· Beach clean-up (Environmental Care)
· Lock-in
· Mother’s Day/prevent Malaria project (proceeds from Mother’s Day cards go to buy malaria nets which have now been proven to cut Malaria 50%!)
We’re excited about the great opportunities children can learn and do in mission and service together. Thank you for supporting and encouraging your children to act with Christ’s love!
